(ToS = Terms of Service. Something we all agree to before we're allowed to make accounts on dA and everywhere else)

So, I announced yesterday I got rid of the child pornographer. This was a guy I had been reporting since last December! I originally started following him because, yeah, I liked the stories he was writing in the beginning. But then they starting getting horrible... started with women getting raped. Then women getting beaten, and raped. Then he added in humiliation. Then his stories became incestuous. And then he was writing about doing ALL of that, to CHILDREN. I couldn't even READ it at this point. Yes, I admit I tried to read this shit. But I certainly didn't enjoy it! I started reporting him once the beatings started. And like I described, I could see they were getting worse, and knew they could only get worse.

So, I thought I was doing it right. I reported his deviation (meaning the story itself). Nothing happened. Over a month later, he would delete the story and I would get this automatic message saying since he had deleted the deviation, the problem was solved. I kept reporting these awful stories, over and over. But he kept deleting them, and I was getting frustrated. I finally realized that I think SO many people report deviations this way, that there's many reports for them to go through, and that there just HAD to be another way.

So guys, this is how you get rid of a person like that: at the very bottom of ANY dA page, there are links along the bottom. See the one that says, 'Contact Us'? You click that, and it takes you to another page. Under deviantArt Help click the link that says, 'Main Customer Service'. Use THAT page to report someone!

The people you should and should NOT report: People who write SMUT. Describing bodily fluids, and the acts of sexual intercourse. Plain and simple. As for art, it's trickier. Nudity is ART. So long as there are NO bodily fluids, and acts of sex aren't apparent. Also, art of naked children aren't allowed on dA AT ALL.

Lastly guys, I hope you've noticed that I'm not exactly a hypocrite. I DO write smutty fanfiction, but I do NOT post it to dA. All my lemon one-shots are cut off, with links to where you'll find the entire story in the description. Chloroform isn't even posted TO dA! You will only find part of the first chapter here, and that's it. I am not a ToS breaker on dA!

... I am, however, a ToS breaker on FanFiction.net but allow me to try and save my ass here!!! Do you guys read your fanfiction anywhere else? Most of you probably just said 'no!'. There ARE other places for me to post it up where it's perfectly acceptable, mainly AdultFanFiction.net - HOWEVER. Have you ever BEEN to that website!? It's full of FREAKS. They write the kind of shit the guy I reported wrote, only with anime characters. I used to post Chloroform there, and what happened? I had this WEIRD reader who kept leaving me reviews saying that they wanted Anzu to get pregnant -.- I didn't even KNOW there was a pregnancy fetish! GROSS.

FanFiction.net isn't bad. It's full of people writing lemon! In fact, most everyone I know goes there specifically FOR the lemon. I'm of the opinion that FF should add the MA rating so that we AREN'T breaking the rules anymore. Just look at all the people who ARE breaking the ToS. And look at how SERIOUSLY FF even takes it o.O I had a friend who reported this girls story just because she didn't like her. Guess what? Story is still there. That was a LONG time ago. They don't seem to respond at all...

So hopefully no one has a lowered opinion of me AND you all learned how to report someone correctly! PLEASE help keep these people off of dA with me!
